Time in the water can make a free afternoon. Flen swimming pool has a jungle pool for children aged 0–8, a teaching pool and a 25-metre pool with six lanes. There is room for both water play and swimming practice.
The jungle pool is a natural starting point for little ones. With older children, use the visit to practise swimming together. The teaching pool and some lanes may be reserved; ask staff if you want to use a particular area.
Prices and opening hours
Admission with sauna costs SEK 75 for adults, SEK 40 for ages 7–17 and SEK 20 for ages 0–6. Family admission costs SEK 225 for two adults and up to four children aged up to 17. With two young children, separate tickets can cost less than a family ticket.
Autumn hours from 17 August 2026 are Monday 14:00–20:00, Tuesday 06:30–20:00, Wednesday–Thursday 12:00–20:00, Friday 06:30–19:30 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–15:30. Mondays are for exercise swimming only. The ticket desk closes 30 minutes before swimming ends and visits last two hours. Holidays and operational changes may affect arrangements; check the municipality’s current notices.
Swimming together
Children under 12 need a fully paying adult over 18 who can swim and has changed for swimming, even if the child can swim. A maximum of three children per adult applies. Keep children aged 0–6 within arm’s reach.
To swim without an adult, children must be at least 12 and able to swim 200 metres continuously, including 50 metres on their back. From the calendar year they turn eight, boys use the men’s changing room and girls the women’s. Staff can help with changing arrangements and specific needs.
Packing and visiting information
Pack swimwear, towels, soap or shampoo and a padlock for your locker. Children in nappies need a swim nappy or designated swim pants. Shower and wash without swimwear before entering the pool.
Pushchairs stay outside the pool and changing rooms. Mobile phones, photography and filming are prohibited during ordinary visits; food and drinks belong in the refreshment room. The municipality advises against children under ten using the hot tub. The full rules are linked below.
