A book you had not been looking for, a new saucer or a piece of furniture that fits your home perfectly. Second-hand shopping is an outing where the stock decides what you take home. These four established shops in Flen and Malmköping are worth adding to your list.

Two stops in Malmköping

PMU at Landsvägsgatan 84 in Malmköping sells furniture, clothing, household goods and books. Start here if your group has different things in mind. Regular shopping hours are Saturdays, 10:00–13:00.

Second Chance is at Storgatan 9. Add it as another Malmköping stop if it is open that day. Call +46 70 336 15 63 for current hours.

Second-hand goods and crafts in Flen

At Norra Kungsgatan 4 in Flen, Violloppan is part of the municipality’s supported day activity service. Violslöjd has its own section of crafts, so you can browse second-hand goods alongside locally made items. Call +46 157 43 07 99 for opening hours.

PachaMama Secondhand is at Götgatan 6. Combine it with Violloppan for a shorter outing within Flen. Ask about current hours at pachamamasecondhand@outlook.com.

Putting the route together

For a Saturday outing, start at PMU in Malmköping and add whichever other shops are open. Violloppan and PachaMama also make a possible separate Flen trip. Check hours before setting off, as the shops open on different days.

PMU lists extra evening opening on Thursday 8 October, 29 October, 26 November and 17 December 2026, from 16:30–18:30. It is closed on Saturday 31 October. Tuesday–Thursday 09:00–13:00 is for accepting donations, not shopping.

Bring a bag and measurements if you are looking for larger furniture. Ask about payment and collection before buying. Leave time for a coffee in Malmköping, too; you can compare your finds over the table.
