Municipality clarifies planned soil handling in Vadsbro-Torp
Flen municipality says questions and concern have been raised about a planned activity on the property Vadsbro-Torp 2:20. The environment department wants to clarify what the case is about and where the process stands.
A company has notified its intent to receive, sort and use surplus soil to level ground ahead of a planned solar park of just over 3 hectares. The municipality stresses that no permit or approval has been granted.
The notification is considered incomplete. The company must submit further material on four points by 24 November. Until then and until the investigation is complete, no decision will be made. No activity or tipping may start on site.
Neighbour notification has been sent to nearby property owners. The environment department plans to send a summary during the week after publication, and information will be updated on flen.se. For questions the municipality refers to head of authority Jenny Dunberg, phone 0157-43 00 71.
